The Iowa Association of Business & Industry (ABI) Foundation is dedicated to developing Iowa's workforce and leaders through statewide educational programs. They work to 1) fill the gap in Iowa's career education at both the high school and college level, 2) provide solutions for the state's workforce development needs, & 3) Replenish leaders and building civic engagement to enhance Iowa's future. Beyond Pink
This Iowa-based organization is dedicated to breast cancer education, prevention & financially assisting those in the Cedar Valley & surrounding communities. The Beyond Pink TEAM has made a huge impact in the Cedar Valley through support groups, free & low-cost mammograms, advocation & so much more. To show our support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we created the Beyond Pink Collection. The Beyond Pink Collection features eight pink shades, all named after Root customers & their loved ones affected by breast cancer.
Cedar Valley Hospice
As a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization, Cedar Valley Hospice puts patients and families at the forefront of every decision they make. Our experienced and professional staff provide the highest quality, compassionate care while focusing on making each moment matter for the patient and family. Dukie's One-Eyed Open Golf Tournament | University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital
The Dukie's One-Eyed Open Golf Tournament is a local event that raises donations for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. In 2021, the event raised over $120,000 for the hospital. The UI Stead Family Children's Hospital is near & dear to our hearts at Root as our VP, Haylee, gave birth to premature twin boys this year who endured a stay at the children's hospital NICU until they reached growth & feeding gestational requirements to come home.
MORE ABOUT DUKIE'S ONE-EYED OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT
Haven
Through love & loss, Haven works to make a difference by building a community of support for parents who have endured the tremendous loss of a child. Striving to be a catalyst for change, since 2017, Haven has been driven by the same ideas they initially founded their non-profit organization upon: hope, healing, & support. Hope for Kenya
Hope For Kenya is a non-profit organization that assists children, women, and those in need of vocational training in southwestern rural Kenya. They ensure clean water, as well as education for those in the greatest need. House of Hope
House of Hope is an organization that provides a safe home and community for homeless single mothers with a child or children in their custody, as well as services including skills classes, employment & transportation services, food, formula, diapers, child care and more for up to two years. Located in Waterloo, Iowa, House of Hope is stationed just a short drive from Root Headquarters in Waverly, Iowa and is very near to our hearts.

Founded in December of 2023, Krista (Root Founder & CEO) & Tasha bonded over kitties & how they've positively impacted their lives, especially during difficult times. Measure the Placenta
Measure the Placenta's mission is to share information about placenta size as a measurable risk factor in order to potentially prevent stillbirths. They support measurement of the placenta using Estimated Placental Volume (EPV) as a standard practice of prenatal care. They aim to help families seeking answers, to supply the medical community with an archive of published research linking small placentas to poor outcomes, to inform doctors, nurses, doulas & ultrasound technicians of the availability of EPV to potentially save lives, & to drive attention & awareness to close the gap in care. No Foot Too Small is an organization that celebrates baby angels & unites families dealing with loss while raising critical funds to build birthing & bereavement suites nationwide. Initially serving families across Iowa, NFTS is expanding across the country. With a mission to serve families experiencing pregnancy & infant loss, NFTS has gifted more than $500k to critical initiatives & celebrated countless angels since its inception.
